Light, fruity, and full of cranberry flavor, it’s the kind of wine that just feels right this time of year.

If you’ve already tried it, tell us what you think! And if you haven’t… consider this your sign. 😉

Dear humans,
It has come to my attention that it is October.

Finally.

For 11 months of the year, I am simply “Enzo.”

But now?

I am mysterious.
I am festive.
I am an ✨aesthetic✨.

Suddenly everyone wants pictures with the black cat.

I would just like to remind everyone that I have been this color the entire time.

Nevertheless, I accept my seasonal promotion.

If you visit Brooks Estate this month, there is a chance you’ll find me making my rounds, greeting guests, inspecting the property, or sitting somewhere dramatically.

You may admire me.
You may photograph me.
You may tell me I am handsome.

You may still NOT pick me up.

October changes many things.

My boundaries are not one of them.

Dear Humans,
Fall has officially arrived at Brooks Estate.

The leaves are changing.
The evenings are cooler.
The firepits are glowing again.

And I, Enzo, have entered my favorite season.

After many years of professional autumn experience, I feel qualified to offer the following Fall Survival Guide to all estate visitors.
Please review carefully.

🍂 Rule #1: Stay Longer Than You Planned
This happens naturally in the fall.
You arrive for:
“just one glass.”
And suddenly:
• there’s live music
• someone orders flatbread
• another bottle appears
• the firepit gets going
• nobody wants to leave
This is normal seasonal behavior.

🔥 Rule #2: Firepit Seating Is Prime Real Estate
Choose wisely.
Blankets, wine, cool air, crackling fire, good conversation…
Honestly, the estate becomes dangerously cozy this time of year.

🍷 Rule #3: Red Wine Season Has Returned
I’ve noticed a dramatic increase in guests saying:
“This feels like fall.”
Usually while holding red wine near a fire.
Very strong atmosphere overall.

🐾 Rule #4: Black Cats Become Extra Powerful in Autumn
As you may know, my influence increases significantly between now and Halloween.
I expect additional admiration during this period.
Please remain respectful.

🎶 Rule #5: Slow Down
This may be the most important rule of all.
There’s something about fall at Brooks Estate that makes people pause a little more:
they linger at tables longer,
they laugh more softly,
they watch the sunset,
they put their phones down,
they relax.
As someone who observes humans professionally, I highly recommend it.

So if you’ve been needing a peaceful evening lately, come spend one with us.
Order a glass of wine.
Sit by the fire.
Listen to music.
Watch the leaves move through the estate.

And if you happen to spot me making my rounds through the property, know that I am simply ensuring autumn operations are running smoothly.

Warm regards,
Enzo

Some of the best parts of Christmas happen around a table. 🎄

Good food. Wine being poured. People lingering a little longer. Stories, laughter, and everyone together in one place.

That’s the kind of holiday party we love at Brooks Estate.

Because the best holiday parties aren’t just another thing on the December calendar — they’re the ones people actually remember. ❤️

October’s Wine of the Month: Fawn Catawba!

Mellow, semi-sweet, and easy to love, Fawn Catawba is a blush wine with a crisp green apple finish — but fun fact: there’s actually no apple in it!

Think sweet rosé, porch-sipping, easy-drinking kind of wine. It’s even a great one to try if you’re normally more of a beer drinker.

And all October long, it’s $3 OFF! 🍂

Stop in, grab a bottle, and see why Fawn Catawba deserves a spot in your fall lineup.

Dear Humans,
Something has started changing around Brooks Estate.

The air feels cooler in the evenings now.
The sunsets are arriving a little earlier.
The patio conversations seem softer somehow.
Guests linger closer to the firepits after dark.

And I’ve noticed the leaves beginning their annual dramatic performance.
Fall is approaching.

Personally, this is excellent news.

As much as I tolerated summer, September may be one of the finest times to visit the estate.

The atmosphere becomes especially cozy this time of year:
🍷 glasses of wine shared outside as the evening cools
🔥 firepits glowing after sunset
🎶 live music drifting through crisp air
🍴 warm food arriving at candlelit tables
🌿 the estate slowly turning gold around the edges

Honestly, the humans have created quite a nice little environment here.

I’ve also noticed something else.

People seem to slow down more in the fall.
They settle into conversations longer.
They stay for “just one more glass.”
They take deeper breaths.
They look around more.
As Director of Observational Affairs, I find this encouraging.

Now, before your next visit, I do need to remind everyone of a few important seasonal guidelines:
🍂 Falling leaves are not emergencies.
🍂 If I sit near the firepit, that area becomes premium seating.
🍂 Cooler weather does NOT increase my willingness to be held.

Please respect the policies.

If you’ve been meaning to plan a visit to Brooks Estate, September is an excellent time to do it.

Come spend an evening with us:
good wine, warm food, live music, cooler nights, and the kind of atmosphere that makes people forget to check their phones for awhile.
I’ll be around supervising the seasonal transition carefully.

Warm regards,
Enzo
