Named after the original 1769 land warrant holder, this guestroom offers a peaceful countryside stay with added convenience.

Featuring a queen-sized bed, classic oak furnishings, and large windows overlooking rolling fields and gardens, the room feels bright and welcoming.   • I just moved to Pittsburgh at the end of July and came to visit the Laurel Highlands and Fallingwater with my aunt visiting me. I was instantly impressed with the beauty of the area, but Deer Creek Winery and Watson Estate are so unique and beautiful in their own way that it truly stands out. The grounds are beautiful and so welcoming. I loved sitting by the firepit at night, eating s’mores by the bonfire, and looking at the stars. The live music was a great touch also! I really loved the community feel I got when sitting outside. Lastly, the wine was tasty and the breakfast was divine. Thank you for such a great experience. I will definitely plan to come visit again in the future.

  • This was a perfect place to end our two-week trek of the East from Indiana to Maine and back. Our goal in PA was to visit another Frank Lloyd Wright house. The bonus was Ohiopyle State Park waterfalls and a stop at the springs well off of 40, where we met a member of the Keasur family who owned the ground that Falling Water was built on prior to the Kaufmans—lots of backstory.
