Deer Creek Winery tasting room remains open to the public during weddings and private events, while your celebration takes place in its reserved event spaces.

Deer Creek provides venue support for regular weddings, but not full wedding planning or a day of coordinator. Couples handle their own vendors, décor setup & take down, and timeline management.

Outdoor ceremony seating is not provided. If you choose an outdoor ceremony, chairs or benches and setup/tear-down must be arranged by the couple.

Event insurance is required and can be arranged through Burns & Burns Insurance, naming Deer Creek Winery as the beneficiary.

One security officer is required for all receptions besides elopements & micro weddings.

For larger weddings, the Watson Estate café can provide select casual add-ons for rehearsal-style gatherings, but most couples use an outside caterer for the reception itself.

The front brick patio may be incorporated as additional outdoor seating, weather permitting. Use of this area does not increase the estate’s maximum wedding capacity of 100 guests.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date for up to 7 days until the signed contract is received with first payment to seal the date.

A non-alcoholic beverage package is required for all weddings and is not included in your venue package price. All beverage packages include plastic servingware and ice.

All beverages — alcoholic and non-alcoholic — must be purchased through Deer Creek. No outside beverages of any kind are permitted.

The Hayloft Barn — a restored 1790s barn with original beams, reclaimed wood, and panoramic Laurel Highlands views — is used for full weddings. The Estate Room, located within the Estate House, features a cozy fireplace, timber-beam ceiling, and is used for micro weddings and elopements.
